TROTT CONTRACTING was started in 2021 by Michael Trott. While the business name is TROTT CONTRACTING LTD, many people know us as “Trott Fencing,” and we have even had some promotional items made with that name.

Regarding quotes and materials, we always provide quotes for all our work. Clients have the option of us supplying all the necessary materials as well. We prefer to email quotes initially to ensure clarity and mutual understanding before proceeding with a project, minimizing any potential surprises.

2 Projects
We have used Micheal at Trott Contracting to complete 2 fencing projects on our property. The first was a post and rail fence around our house section. He was quick and efficient at getting the job done. About 3month after the job was finished, we got flooded during cyclone Gabrielle. The fence was solid and did not move even with a metre of water against it. 2yrs on the fence is still dead straight and looking as good as the day it was finished. We got Micheal out again after the cyclone to erect a new boundry fence, which is a 9 wire post and batten. Again has done a quick effective job, and looks great. Micheal and his sister Tiffany also put an internal 5wire electric fence. This was a competition practice fence for Tiffany's first fencing competition. Nice straight fence and works well. We are very happy with the work Micheal has done.

Trott Fencing is our go to fencer. Mike provides excellent service! Prompt responding to our requests, listens and works with us to come up with a plan and is quick to give a quote. Our fencing has been completed quickly and to a high standard. We were especially grateful after Cyclone Gabrielle, when he completed a new fence, a week later. Highly recommended!
